Empress Helena

I took this photo at Colchester City Hall, England…  The window recognizes important historical queens from this area of England…

Helena was the mother of the Roman Emperor Constantine, who legalized Christianity in 325 AD.  According to legend, St. Helena was from Colchester and her son Constantine, her famous son, was likewise born in England.  She may be considered the first archeologist!  She went to the Holy Land to retrieve sacred relics.  I found this portrait of her to be very beautiful.

A Christmas ornament?  Yes, or a year-round magnet!   Made with wood for that rustic touch and equipped with a magnetic back, so you can decorate your fridge or any metal surface.
