The Curse of Oak Island is back! Tonight in the USA, the premier of Season 12 starts! Grab your popcorn, it’s ON –
I was invited to participate in S12. It was nice to be asked to participate virtually behind the scenes throughout the summer. It was great to be in touch with familiar faces on the island and discuss historical events or objects found there. I am in S12 in spirit and look forward to seeing how the many subjects discussed will play out.
This is typical for Oak Island as they like to feature new and different people and ideas. They may circle back to me in the future for another program if an S13 is not forthcoming.
Sometimes they circle back to those who have been invited in prior seasons when discoveries merit another look – Jeffrey Irving was highlighted again after a long hiatus. His work on the Templars was fantastic, and we’re fans of each other’s work. As you all know, the Templars, Cistercians, and Vikings are my strong suit. My first book came out in 2015 –
Out of hundreds of theories knocking at their door daily, it is a privilege to have crossed the threshold. My journey with Oak Island started in 2018, and I’ve been blessed to have been featured several times. It IS so fun, engaging, and my life’s work that it’s natural to want to be included further. Though I was not filmed, I enjoyed being part of the discovery for Season 12 as an analyst behind the scenes and on a voluntary basis.
None of us own the island – We’re just passing through and hoping to contribute and help unravel the great mystery of the longest-running treasure hunt in history in anyway possible! The mystery of the island will reach beyond all our life spans into the future! Even if they find the treasure, Oak Island will be a magnet for millions for a few centuries to come! It is riveting, exciting, and filled with a sense of danger in the air! The island covers many of the historical flash points of North American history and the Old World! Oak Island has become a place of pilgrimage.
We’re all acorns, whether we’re a theorist or an armchair theorist! We all want to know what happened! On the other hand, there are mysteries that will never be solved on the island, and I am grateful for that! Do we really want to know everything? 
I like a bit of mystery in my life as it gives me something to quest for…

Unfortunately, it will be 5 weeks before the UK has its premiere, but I promise not to overshare or put out heavy spoilers!
