June 24th marks the Feast Day of John the Baptist, Patron Saint of the Knights Templar. Medieval sources of the Grail are often a platter with a head, being carried by a Grail Maiden. Over centuries the Holy Grail came to represent many objects including a euphemism for childbearing!
Without going into details, the Templecomb Head, painting on wood, was confirmed to date within the Templar known era up to the mid-1400s and is from the English town of Templecombe. The Preceptory was established in 1185 and the town took its name from the Knights Templar.
John the Baptist was beheaded and is always represented in art by a head or a skull which is why the Templars flew the Jolly Roger! Yes, they did fly the pirate flag before anyone else did! Or I should state that their patron, Roger II of Sicily flew the infamous flag!
In 2018, I interviewed with The Curse of Oak Island and shared my research on Nolan’s Cross. Now that we know the megalithic structure dates to 1200, the ‘Head Stone’ appears to be that of the Patron Saint of the Templar Order! The beheaded John the Baptist is memorialized on a Holy island off Nova Scotia!

Thanks Gretchen I will always be grateful to have learned about the origins of Jolly Rodger after reading the first book I found of yours. It all makes perfect sense to me and when I tell others about the history, I always send them the details of your publications. Thank you for sharing and being you.. d
Thank you, Drew! I appreciate our communications!
Hallo ich habe in dem Video von Oak Island etwas gesehen was nicht erwähnt wurde. Ist ihnen in der Höhle noch mehr aufgefallen? Es wäre schön wenn wir uns das gemeinsam nochmal anschauen könnten
